Job Title: Product Manager
Qualifications
-
Requires a bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience in the field managing
top tier accounts, products, and personnel, with the ability to lead and direct
the work of others.

Progressively increasing responsibility

Negotiation skills and Global sourcing capabilities

Detailed oriented, Analytical mind with a team player concept

Creative thinker with a wide degree of latitude is expected

Project management skills, Works well under pressure

Second language is a plus and strong applicable computer skills a must

Prepares marketing strategies and programs for a product or product line.

Evaluates product performance to help develop and update company goals and
objectives.

Advises sales team on any relevant product concerns.

Recommends changes to current product development procedures based on market
research and new trends.

Must be able to lead and direct the work of others.

Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Description
Job responsibilities include but are not limited too:
-
Account management and maintenance on a daily basis
-
Idea, sample creation, implementation and execution at account level for new
and existing products
-
Product development and field testing substantiating new products' viability in
market place
-
Proper product costing
-
Supplier relations as it relates to sourcing materials, pricing and packaging
-
Tracking product lines to ensure that all products are maintaining sufficient
margins
-
Product development for all business units within our category
-
Execution and compilation of spec sheets, cost sheets and sample request forms
for all products and programs
-
Negotiate product price, style, color and samples with third party suppliers
-
Support of sales force as needed
-
Copy writing for products and programs as needed
-
Create promotional opportunities from start to finish
-
