In 1981, a team of family members created The Rooster ® Group with a simple philosophy of “doing what is right for the customer”, and always adding value in the process. This entrepreneurial spirit was a breath of fresh air for a category of products that was firmly entrenched in the past. The Rooster® Group quickly started to gain market share and by the late 1980’s was one of the top suppliers of construction gear in the world.

In the ensuing years The Rooster® Group gained a reputation as leaders in quality, innovation, integrity and value and was on the leading edge of the changes in the industry. By the late 1990’s, our products could be found in nearly every hardware retailer in the United States. It was during this time period that we became the world’s leading design and manufacturing company of construction gear products and, through today, have not yielded that position.
